Highway Construction General Laborer - Foundation Drilling

M&D Foundation Drilling Industries, Inc. is seeking dependable, hard-working Ground Laborers to join our growing team. We specialize in foundation drilling services for major highway and bridge construction projects across Texas, working primarily with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

This is a physically demanding position suited for individuals who take pride in hands-on work and being part of critical infrastructure projects that keep Texas moving.

Job Overview

• Valid Texas Drivers License - is required for operating company vehicles on-site. No exceptions.
• Must be 21 years or older - no exceptions
• Willingness to Travel within Texas - M-F, expenses paid, transportation provided from our shop located in Waller, TX; home most weekends, some weekends may be required depending on project.
• Clean Driving Record
• Provide General Labor - physical and manual
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Reliable transportation to designated meeting points

Compensation:

• Travel Requirements:

This position requires travel throughout Texas depending on project locations. The company provides accommodations and a daily per diem while working out of town.

• Starting pay is $17-$20/hour DOE
• Per Diem paid at $40/qualified day
• Overtime likely, but not guaranteed
• 90 day probationary period
• Quarterly Bonus Program

Responsibilities

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to heavy highway drill shaft construction.
• Must be able to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual and physical labor such as hammering, lifting, carrying and shoveling
• Must be able to precisely read a tape measure
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions in English
• Must hold a valid Texas driver's license and have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
