• Salary £38,511pa
• Basic 40 hours a week, working Monday to Friday
• 21 days holiday (excluding 8 bank holidays) rising to 26 days after five years

KWL is one of the largest construction and maintenance contractors in Hull. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic candidates to join our Highways team to support construction, maintenance, repair, inspection, testing and documentation of electrical systems for outdoor lighting installations, highway power supplies and street furniture.

Description of job:

• To carry out all works, other than electrical supplies owned or operated by a Distribution Network Operator, associated with the electrical systems for outdoor lighting installations, highway power supplies, equipment, and street furniture.
• To cooperate with the Company in the maintenance and upgrade of all systems associated with outdoor lighting installations, highway power supplies, seasonal festive lighting installations and equipment, and street furniture to the complete satisfaction and enjoyment of the end user.
• To carry out all works that are safe and without danger and damage to persons and property in the reasonable use of electrical systems associated with outdoor lighting installations, highway power supplies, equipment, and street furniture.
• Previous experience in a related field would be advantageous.

Required skills, experience & qualifications:

· 18th IEE Qualified or equivalent

· Full valid driving license (essential)

· IPAF 1b (desirable)

· Harness Training (desirable)

· CAT C or C1 Driver License (desirable)

· HEA HERS Registered (desirable)

· Experience working on external lighting and signage (desirable)

· Ability to work on both own initiative and as part of a team.

· Ability to use smartphones, tablets etc.

· Excellent awareness of health and safety.
