Job Title: Hindi Teacher (Middle School – Cambridge Curriculum)

Location: Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

D Y Patil International School, Worli is seeking a passionate and dedicated Hindi Teacher for Middle School (Grades 6–8) under the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE/Lower Secondary Programme). The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, contribute to the holistic development of students, and deliver high-quality Hindi language instruction aligned with Cambridge standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Hindi lessons for Middle School (Cambridge/IGCSE/Lower Secondary).
• Teach Hindi language skills including reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and literature.
• Align instruction with curriculum standards and personalize learning to meet diverse student needs.
• Create and use engaging, age-appropriate instructional materials and activities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Encourage student participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Establish a safe, supportive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress, behavior, and achievements.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Support the school’s vision, values, and policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hindi, Education, or related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
• Cambridge teaching experience or certification is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle school.
• Experience with Cambridge/IGCSE/International curricula is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in Hindi language pedagogy and modern teaching strategies.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Creative, organized, and student-focused.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• School hours as per D Y Patil International School timetable
