Job Title: Hindi Teacher (PRT / TGT / PGT) – CBSE Curriculum

Location:Gateway International school, Neelankarai

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Hindi Teacher to teach students across Primary, Middle, and Senior Secondary levels under the CBSE curriculum. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and experience in preparing students as per CBSE guidelines.

Qualification Requirements: For PRT (Classes I–V):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi or related field
  • B.Ed (Mandatory)
  • CTET / State TET preferred
  • 1–3 years of CBSE teaching experience preferred

For TGT (Classes VI–X):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi
  • B.Ed (Mandatory)
  • CTET preferred
  • Minimum 2–5 years CBSE teaching experience
  • Experience handling Class X board pattern preferred

For PGT (Classes XI–XII):

  • Master’s Degree in Hindi
  • B.Ed (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in CBSE Senior Secondary
  • Experience handling Class XII Board Exams (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Hindi language and literature as per CBSE curriculum.
  • Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
  • Design question papers as per CBSE blueprint and marking scheme.
  • Prepare students for periodic tests, term exams, and board examinations (Class X & XII where applicable).
  • Conduct remedial and enrichment classes.
  • Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain student academic records and performance analysis.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and training sessions.
  • Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain discipline and positive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command over Hindi grammar and literature.
  • Knowledge of CBSE exam pattern and assessment structure.
  • Ability to handle board exam classes (TGT & PGT levels).
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • Digital proficiency (Smartboard, PPT, online platforms).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
