Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, a creative flair for product development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing production hall operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation - Prepare and produce items in accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring all products are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality expectations; prepare ingredients for production.
- Product development - Collaborate with the Lead Chef or management to develop and improve food products, create special products to please clients and customers, stay updated on culinary trends, and incorporate new techniques and ingredients.
- Production hall management - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including assistant chefs; ensure production operates efficiently during service hours; monitor inventory levels and initiate orders for supplies as needed.
- Quality control - Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste; conduct regular inspections of production equipment and ensure proper maintenance; ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Team leadership - Train and mentor junior staff, foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and address any issues or conflicts within the production team promptly and professionally.
- Cost management - Monitor food costs and minimize waste, assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food ingredients.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle pressure.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Food safety certifications in HACCP.
- Creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food production and preparation.
- Familiarity with food production management software.
- Certification from a recognized culinary institution.
Working Conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, fast paced environment.
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Occasional lifting of heavy objects.
- Requires 3 years of experience in food preparation at high end food production or hospitality establishments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: SAR 2919 - SAR 3481.
- Transportation provided between residence and company facilities (per company rules).

- Air ticket allowance from KSA main international airport to employees nearest international airport (paid either entirely, monthly, or as per company preference).
