About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineering Leader (SME) to lead and design large-scale cloud-based data engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud platforms, data integration, and advanced engineering practices, with the ability to guide teams and drive complex transformations in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of advanced cloud-based data engineering solutions.
• Orchestrate integration of multiple applications and diverse data sources within the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless data connectivity, transfer, and orchestration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers in cloud, data engineering, and integration practices.
• Establish and enforce best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and security.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud-native services to drive innovation and adoption.

Qualifications & Skills

• 12–17 years of experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS (preferred) or other major cloud platforms.
• Proven experience with data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of application and data integration in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing (significant advantage).
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to mentor, guide, and influence teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹2,700,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
