About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer – Tech Lead with strong expertise in Java, Apache Spark, and AWS cloud services to lead high-impact data engineering projects. You will architect and build scalable data processing pipelines, guide a team of engineers, and drive innovation in our cloud-based data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable data processing solutions on AWS.
• Architect and implement big data processing pipelines using Apache Spark on AWS EMR.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, integrating with other AWS services.
• Manage container orchestration and microservices with Amazon EKS.
• Design and implement workflow orchestration for complex pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Mentor and guide team members on Java development, cloud architecture, and data engineering best practices.
• Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across AWS environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to enhance solutions and maintain competitiveness.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 8–12 years of experience in software/data engineering with proven leadership exposure.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Expertise in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EMR, Lambda, EKS, and Airflow.
• Solid understanding of Serverless architecture & microservices design.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
