Executive - Vendor Management
- Define the selection strategy
- Grow and manage the selection by maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Help to set up a category procurement support strategy
- Manage item and vendor
- Attend fairs and vendor meetings as required
- Monitor and research industry and competitive trends to make the best offering to the customer.
- Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
- Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products
- Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others
- Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured
- Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors
- Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them
- Understanding the marketplaces and being the point of contact for vendors and assisting in operations and other issues
Executive - Vendor Management Requirements
- Proficient in all Microsoft Excel
- Should be willing to travel for work
- The ability to multitask effectively
- Should have strong negotiation skill
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Salary – 24k
Location - Kolkata
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹288,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chowringhee, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vendor management: 1 year (Preferred)
