Hiring Experienced HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Technician with extensive experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of HVAC equipment across diverse property types. Your mechanical expertise and technical knowledge will contribute to maintaining comfortable environments and efficient systems for our clients. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC units including air conditioning systems, boilers, refrigeration units, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup and repairs.
• Conduct plumbing and mechanical work related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Utilize field service techniques to perform appliance repairs, equipment maintenance, and system upgrades efficiently on-site.
• Operate welding equipment when necessary for ductwork or component repairs; maintain high standards of safety during all procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and system performance for ongoing property maintenance documentation.

Skills

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction-related projects.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles and ammonia refrigeration processes.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding, and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with field service operations including troubleshooting complex systems on-site.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics; experience with electrical wiring is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge related to property maintenance including air conditioning units and other HVAC components.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred for transportation between sites. Pay: $28.37 - $34.17 per hour
