Job Title: Junior Supply Chain Executive
Department: Supply Chain / Procurement
Position Overview:
The Junior Supply Chain Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth, cost-effective, and timely procurement and delivery of food and non-food items to all restaurant outlets. This role oversees supplier management, inventory planning, logistics coordination, and cost optimization to support business operations while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Finalize contracts with approved suppliers for food, beverage, and non-food categories.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of pricing, quality, delivery, and reliability.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities for better cost and quality.
- Ensure all purchases adhere to company procurement policies and hygiene/safety standards.
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Coordinate with restaurant outlets and central kitchen to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor slow-moving and excess stock; implement corrective measures to minimize waste.
- Conduct regular inventory audits in collaboration with store and finance teams.
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries to outlets.
- Liaise with warehouse and operations teams to ensure proper storage, temperature control, and FIFO compliance.
- Track delivery schedules and resolve supply chain disruptions quickly.
Cost Control & Reporting
- Monitor purchase costs and analyze variances versus budget.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Prepare regular supply chain reports (cost analysis, supplier performance, stock movement, wastage reports).
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory requirements.
- Work with the QA and Operations teams to ensure all suppliers meet food safety and HACCP standards.
- Maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within the F&B or restaurant industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
