Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, retinal procedures, and other eye surgeries as per expertise

Conduct thorough eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases

Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up care

Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines

Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation

Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and surgical outcomes
Qualifications & Requirements:

Strong knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy and clinical examination components

Proven hands-on experience in ophthalmology coding and documentation

In-depth understanding of US healthcare coding guidelines and payer policies (preferred)

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
