Hiring for the position of Accountant

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho).
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts (bank, cash, receivables, payables).
  • Prepare journal entries, adjustments, and accruals.
  • Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process supplier invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  • Issue customer invoices and follow up on receivables.
  • Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations.

3. VAT & Tax Compliance (UAE FTA)

  • Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
  • Maintain proper VAT documentation and records.
  • Support Corporate Tax compliance and reporting (if applicable).
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial reports and analysis to management.

5. Audit & Compliance

  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE commercial laws and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred, freshers can also apply).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Available to join immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
