Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho).
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts (bank, cash, receivables, payables).
- Prepare journal entries, adjustments, and accruals.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Issue customer invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations.
3. VAT & Tax Compliance (UAE FTA)
- Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Maintain proper VAT documentation and records.
- Support Corporate Tax compliance and reporting (if applicable).
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required.
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to management.
5. Audit & Compliance
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE commercial laws and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred, freshers can also apply).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
