Position: Door Technician (Local & Overseas Hiring)

Job Summary

We are hiring skilled Door Technicians from local and overseas markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various door systems, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair manual and automatic doors (sliding, swing, rolling shutter, sectional, fire-rated, glass, steel, and aluminum doors)
• Diagnose faults in door mechanisms, motors, sensors, and control panels
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Replace defective parts and ensure proper alignment and operation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations
• Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and clients
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition
• Prepare basic service reports after completion of work

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Door Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of automatic door systems, access control, and safety sensors (preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring (certification is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Physically fit and able to work at sites
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant trade (preferred)
• Minimum 2–5 years relevant experience
• Valid driving license (preferred for local candidates)

Overseas Candidates

• Must have relevant overseas experience
• Ready for work visa processing as per Qatar labor law
• English communication required (Arabic is an advantage)
