HIRING - Front Desk Scheduler/Coordinator/Case Manager - Physical & Occupational Therapy - Full Time

About Us:

Mobile Therapy Specialists Inc. (MTS) is a patient-focused mobile outpatient physical and occupational therapy company dedicated to helping our community restore movement, function, and quality of life. The MTS mobile treatment model adds value for the patient and their referring physician while strengthening the professions of physical and occupational therapy with a focus on quality care. We currently have 30 therapists covering all of Orange County.

We currently have an experienced full time front desk manager and a part-time assistant. We are seeking an experienced, friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Scheduler/Coordinator to add to our team. You will be trained by the onsite manager and be the first point of contact for our patients. Although our treating therapist staff are mobile (treating in the patient's home), we have an administrative office space in Costa Mesa that is used for all front desk job duties and responsibilities. There is no face to face interaction with patients - all communication is done by phone and email.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and schedule appointments with professionalism and warmth
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed
• Collect copays and process payments accurately
• Maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding scheduling and billing
• Assist therapists with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
• Keep the front office tidy and welcoming

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and EMR systems (training provided)
• Reliable, punctual, NO drama and a team player
• High school diploma or equivalent required
