Hiring lawncare and landscape help

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with mowing lawns, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and performing general gardening tasks using hand tools and power tools
• Support landscape installation projects including hardscaping, planting, and soil preparation
• Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems under supervision
• Maintain and repair landscaping equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Help with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible
• Perform routine landscape maintenance including edging, mulching, and watering plants
• Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments
• Assist with construction projects related to landscape architecture or hardscape features
• Follow safety protocols when handling machinery like excavators or power tools
• Contribute to the overall upkeep of outdoor spaces by performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks

Experience

• Previous experience working outdoors in landscaping, lawn care, or gardening preferred but not required
• Basic mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment beneficial
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, and planting techniques preferred
• Experience operating machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of horticulture principles or garden management is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction and landscape services

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
