Hiring: Senior Civil Engineer (Design Experience)

Key Skills & Requirements

Education

• Degree in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng).
• Chartered or working toward chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent).

Experience

• Proven background in civil and infrastructure engineering within a consultancy environment.
• Mandatory experience delivering projects within the region.
• Involvement across all development stages: concept, master planning, detailed design, and construction.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in infrastructure design software (e.g., Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience in grading and earthworks for external works.
• Design of wet utilities: stormwater, sewerage, and potable/domestic water networks.
• Coordination of dry utility requirements as part of civil works.
• Strong understanding of local authority approval processes.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Experience integrating infrastructure within building and development plot projects.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and technical specialists.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Capability to manage multiple large-scale projects while mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

Licensing

• Local registration with the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (MMUP) is highly desirable.
