Mechanical Dratsman

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Reports To: Senior Mechanical Engineer / Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Interpret and convert engineering sketches, verbal instructions, and specifications into technical drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes or client feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and other technical documentation.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings before submission for review or approval.
• Support the manufacturing or construction team by providing clarifications when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience (2–3 years) as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, HVAC, piping, or heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or other design standards.
• Exposure to 3D modeling and rendering software.
• With Valid Qatar id and able to join immediate.
