Purchase Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities (Residential Plotting Work)

Qualification: BE Civil is mandatory

• Plan and arrange materials required for plotting work such as sand, aggregate, PCC, RCC items, pipes, cabling, chamber materials, paver blocks, bricks, etc.
• Identify and evaluate local vendors for civil, roadwork, drainage, and utility materials.
• Send RFQs, collect quotations, and prepare rate comparisons.
• Negotiate prices and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Issue Purchase Orders as per approved BOQ and project specifications.
• Coordinate material testing and approvals with QA/QC and site team.
• Ensure timely delivery to site for continuous work progress (roads, drainage lines, water lines, electrification, compound, landscaping).
• Resolve material shortage, quality issues, and logistics delays.
• Maintain procurement records, POs, delivery challans, and stock coordination with storekeeper.
• Monitor vendor performance related to delivery timelines, rates, and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
