United Natives is expanding its virtual mental health services and is seeking licensed clinicians in select states to provide telehealth counseling on a flexible, part-time contract basis.

About United Natives

United Natives is a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing health equity and increasing access to free mental health services for Native American communities. Through our telehealth model, we deliver culturally informed, trauma-aware care at no cost to clients.

Role Overview

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• 100% Remote (Telehealth)
• Flexible schedule based on your availability
• Caseload typically ranges from 1–20 clients per week
• Client volume can be adjusted to fit your schedule
• Compensation supported through grants, partnerships, and philanthropic funding

Compensation Structure

• Single-State License:
• Initial assessments (first 2 visits): $75 per session
• Ongoing counseling sessions: $65 per session
• Multi-State License:
• Initial assessments (first 2 visits): $85 per session
• Ongoing counseling sessions: $75 per session
• PhD / Psychologist:
• Initial assessments: $85 per session
• Ongoing counseling sessions: $85 per session

Client Focus Areas

Clinicians may support individuals experiencing:

• Anxiety, depression, and mood-related challenges
• Grief and loss
• Trauma and PTSD
• Substance use and opioid harm reduction
• Sexual assault and interpersonal violence
• Historical and intergenerational trauma
• Student-athlete mental health and performance-related stress

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC)
• Ability to practice independently without supervision
• Experience working with Indigenous communities or diverse populations is preferred
