Hiring Restaurant Server

Responsibilities

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, acting as a welcoming host or hostess when needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards throughout the process
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and tips

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving, bussing, or host/hostess positions
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clocwe , Toast or Micros POS;
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or high-volume restaurants is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills along with basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $2.12 - $2.50 per hour
