Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on SAP Basis Consultant with strong experience in project and build-focused environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP RISE, S/4HANA on Microsoft Azure, and SAP BTP, along with the ability to independently support complex SAP landscapes in a contract setting.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in system builds, upgrades, integrations, and cloud-based SAP operations, working closely with functional teams, cloud teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on SAP Basis support for project and build activities
• Support SAP RISE and S/4HANA systems hosted on Microsoft Azure
• Perform core SAP Basis administration activities including:
• System builds & refreshes
• Transport management
• RFC configuration
• Background job scheduling
• User administration
• System monitoring & performance tuning
• Plan, execute, and support S/4HANA technical upgrades, including post-upgrade stabilization
• Support SAP BTP:
• Subaccount setup
• Entitlements
• Security roles & authorizations
• Connectivity configuration
• Provide technical support for SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration):
• Interface connectivity
• Certificate management
• Assist with SAP Signavio technical setup and integrations
• Support SAP GTS technical components and integrations with ECC and S/4HANA
• Troubleshoot technical, performance, and connectivity issues across SAP, BTP, and Azure environments
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, cloud teams, and external vendors during project execution

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–9 years of strong hands-on SAP Basis experience
• Proven experience in project and build-focused SAP roles
• Hands-on experience with SAP RISE and S/4HANA on Microsoft Azure
• Experience supporting S/4HANA technical upgrades (preparation, execution, post-upgrade)
• Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP:
• Account structure
• Entitlements
• Security
• Connectivity
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration)
• Technical exposure to SAP Signavio
• Experience supporting SAP GTS technical components
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a contract role
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
