Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive history curricula aligned with educational standards and tailored to meet the needs of students at various learning levels
- Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate instructional design principles, multimedia resources, and interactive activities to promote active learning
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize course materials, track student progress, and facilitate online discussions
- Adapt teaching strategies for students with disabilities or special education needs, ensuring accessible and inclusive classroom experiences
- Incorporate literacy education, math integration, and physical education components where appropriate to support holistic student development
- Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Provide academic advising and tutoring support to help students achieve their individual educational goals
Skills
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning tailored for diverse learners
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and integrating learning technology into daily instruction
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs in inclusive classrooms
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles, childhood development, and preschool or toddler care practices
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents or guardians
- Ability to develop creative instructional strategies that incorporate library services, physical education, and other extracurricular components
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with conflict resolution expertise to foster a respectful learning environment
- Prior experience in private school settings or Montessori-based educational approaches is advantageous
- Strong writing skills for lesson documentation, student assessments, and instructional materials
