Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and comprehensive dental services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and specialized skills in areas such as endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinic environment utilizing advanced dental technology and electronic health records systems, including Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing various dental needs, including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records.
- Conduct oral surgeries such as extractions and other surgical procedures with aseptic technique.
- Provide patient education on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient workflow using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to all safety standards within the clinic environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology, materials, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with proficiency in general dentistry procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Experience performing specialized procedures including endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), oral surgery (extractions), and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance.
- Prior experience with dental fabrication processes and medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
