Full Spectrum Integrative Medicine is a Functional Integrative and Internal Medicine practice that focuses on the root cause of a health problem and tries to optimize our patient's health and wellness inside and out. We provide both medical, health coaching, aesthetic and newly added massage services to our patients. We are looking for an experienced nurse with excellent communication and IV insertion and infusion skills who wants to be part of our dynamic team and working in a brand new health center on the Main Line just west of Philly . The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, friendly, and energetic.
Hours: The job is a minimum of 14-16 hours per week with additional hours available, availability on Fridays from 8am to 12 pm is required. The position requires no travel, a one-location office-based setting. No weekends, no evenings, and no major holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Daily support for the clinical needs of the physician, including assisting with patient questions via phone, EMR portal, email, prescription refills, lab results, etc.
- IV insertion and monitoring patients during infusions, IM/SQ injections, and phlebotomy. Experience with Nutrient IV therapy is a plus.
- Verify patient intake forms, follow-up forms, consent forms, and procedure information.
- Prepare charts for patient appointments and communicate lab results and instructions to patients.
- Assisting the physician and aesthetician with procedures
- Report any new or relevant information to MD or provider.
- Prepare the room for the next patient.
- Provide positive experiences and hold an inviting attitude
- Maintain all medical supplies and keeping up to date inventories. Scheduling equipment for any maintenance repairs
- Keep exam rooms clean and well-stocked.
- Administering EKGs, Spirometry, and Vascular studies
- We are educating patients on performing injections, test kits, prescribed diets, etc.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information
- Document all patient encounters within our EMR system according to practice guidelines.
- Working knowledge and application of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills over the phone, written communication, and in person.
- Able to prioritize tasks with attention to detail and ability to manage various job duties simultaneously.
- Take photos as required.
- Have a warm, inviting personality during the entire patient experience.
- Knowledge of Integrative Functional Medicine a plus
Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent (Required)
- 2 years of Registered Nursing Experience and must be proficient with IV/Phlebotomy skills
- Day Shift (Required)
- A criminal background check (Required)
- Must be BLS certified required
