Integrative Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
1099 Independent Contractor Position

Pura Vida Psychiatry is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing integrative psychiatric practice offering a more relational, depth-oriented, and holistic approach to mental health care.

This position is ideal for a clinician who values thoughtful psychiatric treatment, collaborative care, and meaningful therapeutic connection. While medication management is part of the work, our approach extends beyond symptom management alone and integrates emotional processing, nervous system awareness, supportive psychotherapy, and whole-person care into ongoing treatment.

At this stage of practice growth, applicants must already be credentialed through Headway in Massachusetts, as the position is intended to support relatively immediate clinical onboarding and patient scheduling.

About the Role

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Compensation starting at $80/hour for direct patient care
• Flexible remote schedule
• Part-time to start, with opportunity for caseload growth over time
• Hour-long sessions with integrated documentation time built into workflow
• Administrative support available to assist with non-clinical tasks

Who We’re Looking For

This role may be a strong fit for a clinician who is:

• Licensed PMHNP in Massachusetts
• Already credentialed through Headway (required)
• Comfortable providing both medication management and psychotherapy-informed care
• Drawn to integrative, trauma-informed, somatic, or relational approaches to healing
• Emotionally present, reflective, and comfortable sitting with complexity
• Seeking collaborative practice rather than isolated telehealth work
• Interested in contributing to the development of an evolving integrative clinical model

Formal training in integrative psychiatry, somatic modalities, or holistic medicine is welcomed but not required. Genuine curiosity, openness, and alignment with the philosophy of the practice are highly valued.

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
