This rewarding role involves providing personalized, respectful care in clients’ homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Whether assisting with mobility, medication reminders, or daily routines, you’ll be a vital part of fostering independence and enhancing quality of life for those you serve. <Duties>
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity.
- Support clients with medication reminders following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease through tailored memory care techniques and patience-driven engagement.
- Assist with mobility using assistive devices like walkers or wheelchairs; help clients transfer safely while preventing falls or injuries.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment aligned with home & community care standards.
<Skills>
- Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly.
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments demonstrating adaptability across diverse settings.
- Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice protocols, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general.

<Requirements>
- Must have certification as CNA or PCA
- Must pass background check
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation and communication device

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
