Assisting Hands Home Care North Austin is seeking a self-motivated and personable Community Liaison to expand our presence in the North Austin metro area. This role focuses on generating senior care partner referrals by building lasting relationships with those who serve the senior community in our area.

The ideal candidate is upbeat, friendly, organized, tech-savvy, energetic, open to learning and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others. Our service territory covers North Austin and surrounding areas, including Cedar Park. Leander, Round Rock and Pflugerville. Candidates must be based in this area.

Qualifications:

  • Experience building professional relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; presentation experience a plus
  • Self-motivated, accountable, professional, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation required
  • High School Diploma/GED required; higher education preferred
  • Availability for occasional evenings/weekends for events and networking
  • Must currently live in the North Austin or surrounding metro area

Preferred:

  • 2+ Years in a client / patient-facing role in the senior care or healthcare industry
  • LMSW, LBSW or other Social Work experience
  • Sales or Marketing Experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain database of local influence centers (hospitals, senior living communities, rehabilitation and other health providers) using attention to detail in note taking and route planning, Initial lead list will be provided
  • Personally visit and arrange meetings with roles who refer clients to home care using your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
  • Nurture relationships to develop trust and rapport
  • Attend weekly industry networking events
  • Conduct training sessions to professionals and families that focus on Long Term Care insurance, chronic conditions and other issues affecting seniors (content and coaching is provided)
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events representing Assisting Hands services
  • Attend weekly meetings in the office to stay aligned with business priorities, opportunities and challenges
  • Achieve weekly visit and meeting frequency and deliver messaging as directed
  • Report daily activity and meet weekly with manager to discuss opportunities, referrals status, activity, etc.
  • Follow up with all referrals and implement the intake process for new clients
  • Meet with new clients to complete intake paperwork and provide orientation to services with Assisting Hands®
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation for after hours leads and scheduling management
  • Assist in the office with administrative work periodically as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
