Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Assess patients' physical and mental health conditions.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, etc.).
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments as directed by the physician.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, and other nursing procedures when required.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support.
- Care for elderly, post-operative, disabled, chronically ill, pediatric, or palliative care patients based on individual care plans.
- Educate patients and family members on disease management, medication usage, hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and submit daily patient reports.
- Observe and immediately report any changes in the patient's condition to the physician or nursing supervisor.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, glucometers, infusion pumps, and suction machines.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide first aid or basic life support until further medical assistance arrives.
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- DHA Licence or DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory).
- Registered Nurse (RN), Assistant Nurse (AN), or GNM qualification.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional attitude.
- Physically fit to perform home care duties.
- Freshers with DHA Eligibility Letter may apply (subject to employer requirements).
- Willing to work flexible 12-hour or 24-hour shifts.
