Home Caregiver

We are hiring Registered Nurses & Trained Home Caregivers to deliver clinically supervised, patient-focused care at home for elderly, post-hospitalised, chronic, and mobility-dependent patients.

This role requires hands-on clinical experience, strong patient observation skills, and the ability to work independently in a home-care environment while following established medical care plans.

Clinical Responsibilities – Registered Nurse

Direct Clinical Care

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments at home
• Monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, oxygen saturation, temperature, glucose)
• Administer medications (oral, IM, IV, SC) as prescribed
• Provide wound care, dressing changes, and pressure sore prevention
• Support post-operative recovery and rehabilitation care
• Handle oxygen therapy, nebulisation, and basic respiratory care

Disease & Condition Management

• Care for patients with chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, stroke, COPD, Parkinson’s, dementia)
• Monitor symptoms and identify early warning signs
• Escalate clinical concerns to doctors or care coordinators promptly

Emergency Response

• Recognise medical emergencies and provide first-line response
• Follow escalation protocols and coordinate emergency care when required

Caregiving Responsibilities – Home Caregiver / Nursing Assistant

• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Support bedridden patients with positioning and comfort
• Monitor basic health observations and report abnormalities
• Ensure medication reminders as per instructions
• Provide emotional support and companionship

Clinical Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily nursing or care notes accurately
• Record vital signs, medication administration, and observations
• Communicate patient progress to family members and supervisors
• Follow documentation standards for home care compliance

Infection Control & Safety

• Maintain strict hygiene and infection prevention practices
• Use PPE and follow home-care safety guidelines
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

Required QualificationsRegistered Nurse

• Diploma / BSc in Nursing (Recognised Institution)
• Valid Nursing Registration (State Nursing Council)
• Minimum 1–5 years of clinical experience preferred (Hospital, ICU, ward, or home care experience)

Home Caregiver

• Certification or formal training in caregiving / patient care preferred
• Experience in elder care, hospital support, or home care is an advantage
• Willingness to learn clinical protocols

Clinical Skills & Competencies

• Strong patient assessment and observation skills
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures
• Ability to work independently in home settings
• Clear communication with patients, families, and medical teams
• Emotional intelligence and professional conduct
• Physical stamina for caregiving duties

Shift & Work Structure

• Fixed shifts
• One patient per assignment (no ward overload)

Compliance & Ethics

• Follow all medical, ethical, and home-care standards
• Adhere to patient consent, confidentiality, and safety protocols
