Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Sub contractor/Social Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families facing various challenges. This position involves assessing client needs, providing support, home base visits, and connecting clients with resources to improve their well-being. The Sub contractor/Social Worker will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop effective intervention strategies and promote positive outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized service plans.
• Facilitate access to community resources, including housing assistance and behavioral health services.
• Implement crisis management techniques to support clients during emergencies.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavior changes.
• Supervise interns or junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support.
• Engage in workforce development initiatives to assist clients in securing employment opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case management activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Skills

• Strong background in human services, social work, case management, principles and practices.
• Proficient in crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques.
• Experience with addiction counseling and behavioral health issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of childcare practices and family dynamics.
• Familiarity with workforce development programs and resources available to clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bilingual preferred, not required
• Willing to travel if needed

Education:Bachelor of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or related fields; Associate degrees considered with 5 years, relevant experience

Services:Case work

Population:DCS and court-mandated adults, teens, and children

Duties:Supervised visits, transportation, connect clients with community services, teach organizational skills, assist with employment searches, locate housing, provide emotional support, act as mentors, and model behavior.

Responsibilities:Documentation, monthly reports, weekly meetings, service hours

Requirements:21-years of age, clean background, clean drug screen, excellent computer and typing skills
