Home Delivery Transportation Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of all customer orders within the assigned area, while maintaining customer expectations. Ensure efficient utilization of local preferred carriers and proper shipping equipment.

Direct and schedule local WG carrier’s work. Notify carriers of work assignments to ensure on-time movement of goods to maximize operational efficiency. Regularly monitor carriers’ activities and performance.

Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues. Inform and escalate service issues to HD/FM Supervisor as appropriate. Maintain timely and professional communication with Stores on issues impacting service and overall performance.

Effectively communicate with carriers and stores on a regular and timely basis regarding issues impacting the customer and/or their service expectations.

Accurately prepare and process data and paperwork, including but not limited to maintaining shipment BOL’s and other documentation in the TMS, and confirm freight rate quotes, type of service, and confirm store’s initial Sales Orders (SO) from NetSuite-ERP system. Work closely with WG carriers to update all milestones of the shipment information from BOL issuance, contact and scheduling with customers, notification to stores of pick up, and final delivery to customers’ timeline into the Kuebix, TMS system, real time.
