Home Décor Retail Store Sales & Sourcing Manager

Objective: To efficiently manage store operations, maintain optimal inventory levels, and source high quality home décor products that align with market trends and customer preferences, drive sales growth and enhance customer experience through market research and strategic planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Store Management:

· Oversee Daily retail operations to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

· Manage Staff, assign duties and ensure excellent customer service.

· Implement sales strategies to drive revenue and achieve business targets.

· Maintain store aesthetics and merchandising as per brand guidelines.

· Convert each customer interaction into a successful sale through effective communication and product knowledge.

2. Inventory Management:

· Monitor stock level and ensure timely replenishment.

· Conduct regular audit to minimize shrinkage and stock discrepancies.

· Optimise storage and display layouts for better space utilization.

3. Sourcing and Market Analysis:

· Identify and negotiate with reliable suppliers for high-quality home décor products.

· Stay updated with market trends and introduce new and in-demand products.

· Ensure cost effective procurement without compromising on quality.

· Explore and suggest new product categories to expand store offerings.

· Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for smooth supply chain operations.

4. Sales & Revenue Growth:

· Develop and implement sales plans and targets for each quarter.

· Plan strategies to increase revenue and monitor progress every six months.

· Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

· Adapt Sales techniques based on customer feedback and market demand.

· Conceptualize and process promotional campaigns, discount strategies & in-store events to drive sales and customer engagement.

5. Market & Competitor Awareness:

· Stay updated with trends in the home décor industry and competitors strategies.

· Identify new store formats, product categories or display changes to enhance sales.

· Suggest Innovative ways to improve customer engagement and shopping experience.

6. Customer Experience & Store Presentation:

· Ensure the store maintains a welcoming and visually appealing atmosphere.

· Train the team on customer handling and personalized selling techniques.

· Collect customer feedback and implement Improvements to enhance satisfaction.

7. Technology Integration & Data-Driven Decision Making:

· Consult with technology experts to integrate digital tools for efficient store management.

· Implement and monitor sales and inventory software for accurate tracking.

· Generate details analytical reports on Sales trends, customer behaviour, and stock management.

· Use Data insights to optimize pricing, promotions and product placements.

· Explore automation solutions for better operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
