Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries
• Drive a dry van trailer
• Safely secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
• Condust pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance
• Manage various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed cargo, tankers, and other specialized loads
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and load details in accordance with federal regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during trips

Experience

• Valid Class A CDL with proven experience in commercial driving environments
• Prior experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized freight preferred
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is required
• Delivery driver experience involving load & unload operations is highly desirable
• Knowledge of route driving best practices for efficiency and safety
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to trucking operations

Pay: $1,700.00 - $1,900.00 per week
