Home Health Aide

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes or assisted living facilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a state-approved training program.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
- Familiarity with hospice care and senior care services.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Understanding of medical documentation and record keeping procedures.
