Job Summary
Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in delivering personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote independence and well-being in a safe and caring environment.
Duties
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately
- Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments, including memory care techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe home environment for clients
- Document medical records and care activities accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Assist with specialized care needs such as catheter care, hospice support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
Requirements
- Proven experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or long-term care environments
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical documentation processes
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications like medication administration or hospice care are a plus
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status promptly and accurately
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be necessary for travel between client locations

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
