Home Health Aide

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Individual must speak Navajo

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor patients' health by observing and reporting changes in their condition or behavior.
• Maintain cleanliness in the living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Shifts include: Monday-Sundays, multiple shifts available

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving,home care experience, home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and vital signs assessment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary needs is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
