Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their homes and community settings. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and observe patients’ conditions, documenting vital signs and changes accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Support medication administration following proper protocols and medical documentation standards
  • Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
  • Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to ensure safe patient handling
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while adhering to dietary restrictions and medical orders
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including laundry and general cleaning
  • Document all patient interactions thoroughly while respecting HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality

Requirements

  • Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation procedures
  • Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) are required; additional certifications like hospice care or catheter care are a plus
  • Ability to work independently with strong patient observation skills and compassion for diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping and communication
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for live-in employment or community-based visits

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
