Home Health Aide (HHA)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, particularly in hospice care, senior care, and dementia care. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the healthcare team.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document daily activities and any changes in client conditions accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home community care, assisted living, or similar settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR techniques and first aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with systems related to patient care management is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to provide compassionate support while respecting client privacy and dignity.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by employment policies.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
