Home Health Aide (HHA) MORNINGS MAHONING COUNTY

What are we looking for:

• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly
• Ability to carry out directions, read, and write
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with demands of the job

Responsibilities:

• Understands and adheres to agency policies and procedures
• Performs personal care, bath and hands on care as assigned
• completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner per agency policy
• Reports changes in the patients condition and needs to the RN
• Performs household services essential to health care in the home as assigned
• ambulates and exercises the patient as assigned
• Attends patient care conferences as scheduled

Work Environment:

• works indoors in Agency office and patients homes and travels to and from patients home

Risk Exposure:

• High Risk

Lifting Requirements:

Ability to perform the following tasks as necessary

• ability to participate in physical activity
• ability to work for extended periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity
• heavy lifting
• ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
