We are hiring a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to support a medically fragile client in West Hempstead!

Job Requirements:

• Must have valid NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification.
• Proficient in English, Bilingual Preferred
• Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty

Best Match for This Client:

• Fluent in Haitian Creole to support communication
• Experienced with or comfortable with performing transfers for bed-bound clients
• Confident providing hands-on care for medically fragile individuals

Job Responsibilities:

• Enhancing clients' well-being and quality of life as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
• Provide direct client care, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders.
• Provide transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
• Support clients in completing activities of daily living.
• Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting various personalities and behaviors.
• Most importantly: Be a friendly face and a steady presence
