Home Health Aide Instructor (Per diem)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) Instructor who brings both technical expertise and compassion into the classroom. The ideal candidate is a skilled healthcare professional with a passion for teaching and preparing the next generation of caregivers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with approved curriculum for Home Health Aide training programs
• Monitor student attendance, performance, and classroom participation
• Provide clear assessments and constructive feedback to ensure student success
• Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and course materials
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and K&G Career Academy standards
• Offer tutoring, mentoring, and academic counseling as needed
• Create a supportive and professional classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) (required by state regulations for HHA instructors)
• Prior teaching or training experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) preferred, but not required
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success

WHAT WE OFFER:

Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time, Independent Contractor (1099)
