Home Health Aide/CNA

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including transferring and positioning.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia or developmental disabilities.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, home community care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary considerations for seniors.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation practices.
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training or certification in home health aide services is beneficial.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
