Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Home Health Marketing / Business Development Representative to grow our referral network and increase patient admissions through strategic relationship building within the healthcare community.
This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, hospital case managers, rehabilitation facilities, and community healthcare providers while actively identifying new referral opportunities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships, making cold calls, and managing a territory while representing our agency with professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Referral Development & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, physician offices, hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, and rehabilitation communities
- Maintain consistent contact with established referral sources to strengthen relationships and increase referrals
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the agency and healthcare providers
Business Development
- Identify and develop new referral sources within assigned territory
- Create strategic outreach plans to expand market presence
- Represent the agency at healthcare events, community events, and professional networking opportunities
- Track referral activity and maintain accurate CRM or referral logs
Marketing & Outreach
- Conduct in-person visits and cold calls to physician offices, hospitals, rehab centers, and senior living communities
- Educate healthcare providers on services offered by the agency
- Deliver marketing materials and provide clinical program updates
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the clinical intake and admissions team to coordinate referrals and ensure smooth patient transitions
- Communicate referral opportunities and market trends to leadership
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in home health, healthcare marketing, or healthcare sales
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and in-person outreach
- Ability to work independently while managing a territory
- Reliable transportation for local travel
Preferred
- Existing book of business or established healthcare relationships within the territory
- Previous experience working with rehabilitation facilities, physician offices, hospitals, or case management teams
- Understanding of home health services and referral processes

Compensation
Compensation may include:
- Base salary
- Performance-based bonuses tied to admissions and referral growth

Pay: $35.00 - $47.00 per hour
