Duties

• Assess patients’ physical conditions, focusing on lymphedema management and overall mobility
• Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs, goals, and medical history
• Implement physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and orthopedics-focused interventions
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care strategies, compression therapy, and exercises to manage lymphedema effectively
• Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions across care settings

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist or PTA in Florida with current registration and compliance with state regulations
• Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with healthcare teams
