Job Description: As a Caregiver at Nova Home Care, you will provide essential assistance to senior citizens, helping them maintain their independence and comfort at home. Your role will focus on offering both physical and emotional support to our elderly clients, ensuring they feel safe, cared for, and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior clients with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and walking to ensure clients can move safely within their homes.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure clients have nutritious and well-balanced meals.
• Provide companionship, engage in conversation, and participate in light activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and tidying up, to help maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Remind clients to take their medications and assist with medication management when necessary.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental health to family members and healthcare providers.
• Offer transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities, as needed.
• Ensure a safe environment by identifying potential hazards and assisting clients with fall prevention.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with senior citizens or in caregiving is a plus, but we offer on-the-job training.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful, with a desire to help seniors live independently and comfortably.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and other necessary pre-employment checks.
• Reliable transportation

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
