Position Overview

Entera Healthcare is seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support clinical administration, regulatory compliance, and staff training, with the ability to perform patient visits as needed. This role is designed for a senior RN who brings strong regulatory knowledge, leadership capability, and hands‑on home health experience.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining clinical quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and state regulations
  • Conduct clinical chart audits for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence
  • Support agency readiness for surveys, audits, and corrective action plans
  • Assist in maintaining clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and risk mitigation

Training & Clinical Support

  • Lead onboarding and training for nursing staff, including:
  • Documentation standards
  • OASIS requirements
  • Clinical workflows and compliance expectations
  • Provide ongoing education, coaching, and clinical guidance to field staff
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nurses regarding patient care and documentation

Patient Care (As Needed)

  • Perform home health visits as required, including:
  • Start of Care (SOC)
  • Recertification visits
  • Skilled and routine nursing visits
  • Ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician orders and care plans

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
  • Minimum 5 years of home health nursing experience
  • Strong knowledge of OASIS, Medicare guidelines, and home health compliance
  • Experience in training, precepting, or clinical oversight QAPI
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
