Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Home & Property Services Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for property management, leasing, and maintenance coordination. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and compliance with housing regulations. Duties

  • Manage property leasing processes, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with legal standards.
  • Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, rent collection, and reporting to streamline administrative workflows.
  • Handle landlord-tenant law inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and negotiate lease terms to maximize occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
  • Oversee legal administrative tasks related to contracts, lease documentation, and regulatory filings while maintaining accurate filing systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions; upsell additional services or amenities when appropriate to enhance tenant experience.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to schedule property repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities using CMMS or similar systems.

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Strong background in legal administrative procedures related to contracts, leases, and regulatory filings.
  • Excellent customer service skills complemented by effective conflict management and negotiation abilities.
  • Office experience involving filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance procedures, facilities management practices, and basic understanding of CMMS systems is preferred.
