Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed construction plans to accurately execute remodeling projects.
• Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, framing structures, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Install and repair fixtures such as cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, and hardware with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, door hanging, and drywall installation.
• Conduct demolition work safely and efficiently to prepare areas for renovation or restoration.
• Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for tasks such as cutting, sanding, grinding, and finishing surfaces.
• Manage various aspects of construction site activities including concrete forming, masonry work, stucco application, roofing repairs, and flooring installation.
• Oversee or assist with plumbing and electrical work when required, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Apply finishing techniques such as painting, caulking, plastering, tile laying, concrete finishing, and masonry work to achieve polished results.
• Use construction management software like Bluebeam to document progress and communicate project updates clearly.
• Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs accurately and ensure projects stay within scope and timeline.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and conducting regular site inspections.
• Fabricate custom components or modifications as needed for specific remodeling requirements.
• Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures with precision craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with power tools such as saws, drills, grinders; hand tools; heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Experience with plumbing systems and electrical wiring is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently when necessary.
• Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites; ability to identify hazards proactively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
