Summary

As a Math Tutor, you will be instrumental in enhancing students' understanding and proficiency in mathematics. Reporting to the Education Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized tutoring sessions that cater to diverse learning styles. Utilizing core skills in tutoring and in curriculum development and learning technology, you will create engaging lesson plans. Your relevant expertise in various mathematical disciplines, including trigonometry, calculus, and geometry, will empower students to achieve their academic goals and foster a love for math. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in various math subjects, including trigonometry, geometry, and calculus.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance the tutoring experience and track student progress.
• Foster a positive learning environment by managing classroom dynamics and encouraging student participation.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematics
• Proficient in curriculum development and learning technology
• Knowledgeable in various math disciplines including trigonometry, geometry, and calculus
• Experience managing classrooms and working with children and adults
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with educational tools
• Understanding of physiology and childcare principles

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
