Job Description: Home Staging & Design Assistant

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm (Hours may vary depending on the schedule)

Prep assistance for stagings

Expectations:

• Assist in moving all furniture chosen for the staging to the front of the warehouse in preparation for trailer loading.
• Prep pillows, bedding, art and decor based on the specific style of the staging/home.
• Assist in organizing and loading the trailer according to the direction of the team leader.

Staging properties

Expectations:

• Assist in the full preparation for staging prior to the day of staging.
• Once at the property assist in moving all inventory out of trailer and into the home.
• Assist in placing all furniture pieces in their designated rooms.
• Unroll rugs, put together bed frames, blow up mattresses, hang art, place decor, etc.

Destaging properties

Expectations:

• Before leaving the warehouse make sure the trailer is fully prepped with all needed destaging materials.
• Once at the property assist in moving all inventory out of the home and into the trailer in the correct order.
• Assist in loading the trailer, making sure all inventory is secure and will not be damaged in transit.
• When unloading at the warehouse assist in putting all inventory items in their specified places.

Assist with final install of any Short Term Rental design jobs

Expectations:

• Refer to printed design boards when setting up each room and installing to completion.
• Hang art, roll out rugs, place decor pillows etc.
• Assist in light staging for any photoshoots, make sure all interiors are complete, and all outdoor games are setup etc.

Warehouse organization and basic office upkeep

Expectations:

• Address any areas of the warehouse that need organization, put away all inventory items in their designated places.
• Make sure the office is swept/vacuumed/, paper towels and bath napkins are replaced, fridge is stocked with water and all trash is taken out when needed.
• Build/put together any new furniture bought for staging inventory.

Package acceptance

Expectations:

• Accept scheduled deliveries at the warehouse or clients homes when needed.

Additional Job Requirements

• Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable with an active job that can be physically taxing.
• Must have some experience related to home staging or interior retail.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
